WEBSTER – Raymond E. Girouard, Jr., 79, of Upland Avenue Ext., died Friday, February 3, 2023, at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge from Covid-19.  He is survived by six children, Denise D. Clapham and her husband Richard of Hubbardston, Sandra M. Davis and her husband Arthur of Oxford, Lisa L. West and her husband Donald of Dudley, Ronald R. Girouard of Millbury, Pamela J. Kauppila and her husband Wayne of Hubbardston, and William M. Girouard and his wife Crystal of Charlton; his fiancée, Debra Christoff of Webster; 27 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.  He was predeceased by his first wife, Sandra M. (Cooper) Girouard; his second wife, Shirley Girouard; and his sister, Elizabeth Serwecki.  He was born in Worcester, son of the late Raymond E. and Elizabeth (Harris) Girouard Sr., and spent many years living in Florida prior to moving to Webster.

Mr. Girouard was a self-employed electrician.  He was also a skilled carpenter and cabinetmaker.  He was a handyman throughout his life and built several houses.  He enjoyed working with numbers and made a hobby of personal finance.  He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and boating.  Though he sometimes had a difficult time showing it, he loved his family very much.

Services will be held privately.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, P.O. Box 756, Osceola, WI  54020-0756.  Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
