CHARLTON – Richard A. Hadley, Jr., 42, of Family Circle Drive, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, in his home.
He is survived by two daughters, Alexis J. Foskett-Hadley of Charlton, and Adeline M. Hadley of Auburn; his mother, Peggy S. (Burke) Goguen and her husband Edward of Webster; his father, Richard A. Hadley Sr. of North Oxford; three brothers, Christopher A. Hadley and his wife Laura of Florida, Nicholas R. Hadley and his girlfriend Erin Flannery of Rhode Island, and Dylan P. Armentrout of Charlton; his paternal grandmother, Marie Hadley of Webster; his stepfather, Paul Armentrout of Charlton; his stepsister, Heather L. Goguen of Worcester; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was born in Worcester and lived in Auburn, Brimfield, and North Oxford, before moving to Charlton in 2025. He graduated from Shepherd Hill Regional High School in Dudley in 2002.
Ricky owned and operated Mass Climate Solutions in Charlton. In addition to operating his business, he worked as an HVAC technician throughout his life. He loved his children endlessly - they were his life. He enjoyed music of all genres, fishing canoeing, camping, playing guitar, jamming with friends, and singing.
Calling hours are Friday, January 30, 2026, from 5-7 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. A memorial service, including remembrances by family and friends, will be held on Friday at 7:00 p.m. at the conclusion of calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Children of Rich Hadley Memorial Fund, Webster Five Cent Savings Bank, 343 Main Street, Oxford, MA 01540.
