GILBERTVILLE – Robert D. Belliveau, 55, of Main Street, died unexpectedly at home on Saturday, April 27, 2024.  He is survived by his father, Leo-Paul Belliveau of North Oxford; his brother, Guy V. Belliveau of North Oxford; and his sister, Nannette Belliveau and her husband Raoul of Nova Scotia, Canada.  He was predeceased by a sister, Julia A. Belliveau who died in 1980; and his girlfriend, Vanessa Jean Richardson who died in 2022.  He was born in Worcester, son of the late Rachel I. (Bourque) Belliveau, and lived in Cherry Valley and Barre, before moving to Gilbertville eight years ago.

Mr. Belliveau was a supervisor at Westover Auto Salvage in Belchertown for over five years.  He was a car enthusiast and worked as an auto mechanic for most of his life.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at St. Aloysius/St. Jude Parish, 489 Pleasant Street, Leicester.  Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Aloysius/St. Jude Parish, 489 Pleasant Street, Leicester, MA 01524.  Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
