WORCESTER - Robert J. Byron, Jr., 48, died peacefully on Friday, August 26, 2022. He is survived by three children, Brittni A. Tinker of Manchester, NH, Naydene E. Byron of Worcester, and Owen J. Byron of Boylston; his mother Joan E. (Carey) Green of Plainfield, CT; his father, Robert J. Byron, Sr. of Worcester; two sisters, Jennifer A. Luman and Dottie M. Byron, both of Worcester; and four nieces and nephews, Brianna L. Luman, Brandon M. Luman, Austin A. Nash, and Savanna H. Nash, all of Worcester.
Born in Worcester where he was a lifelong resident, Mr. Byron graduated from Burncoat High School in 1991. Possessing many talents, and a true jack-of-all-trades, he worked in several different fields throughout his lifetime. Rob will be remembered for his devoted spirit, loving nature, radiant smile and courage. His warm heart and sense of humor brought light to everyone he encountered. He will be dearly missed.
Memorial calling hours are Thursday, September 15, 2022, from 5-7 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oxford. A prayer service will be held on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at the conclusion of the calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an organization of your choice supporting homelessness or addiction. In addition, his family requests that friends and family perform an act of kindness in his honor. Those willing to share the details of those gestures are encouraged to do so.
