Robert M. Carlson

GARDNER – Robert M. Carlson, 66, of Gardner, passed away after a brief illness at UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus, on Monday, August 17, 2026.

He is survived by his three sisters, Debbie L. Carlson of Dudley, Karen L. Curran and her husband Richard of Oxford, and Susan L. Carlson of Dudley; two nephews, Michael P. Carlson of Barre, and Tyler D. Smith of Worcester; and a niece, Olyvia L. Carlson of Dudley. He was predeceased by his sister, Kristine L. Carlson who died in 2021.

Bobby was born in Worcester, son of the late Donald W. and Judith A. (Jacobson) Carlson, and grew up in Oxford before moving to Gardner. He graduated from Oxford High School in 1977.

Bobby loved spending his Saturdays watching College Football. He was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed playing and watching golf.

Services will be held privately.

Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
