Robert Laporte, Jr.

OXFORD – Robert W. LaPorte Jr., 46, of Grand Street, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 6, 2019.  He is survived by his mother, Susan J. (Desrosiers) LaPorte of Auburn; his stepfather, David Paradise of Auburn; three sibling, Kim LaPorte of Oxford, Jason LaPorte of Rutland, and Jessica Barbale of Auburn; his grandmother, Rose Burton of Auburn; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He was predeceased by his sister, Kelly Paradise of Auburn who died in 2008; his maternal grandparents, George and Pauline Desrosiers; and his paternal grandfather, Donald LaPorte.  He was born in Worcester and lived most of his life in Oxford before moving to Worcester ten years ago.  Robert had an interest in computer technology and was very knowledgeable in the field.

A graveside service will be held at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942
