Robert Prefontaine

DUDLEY - Robert E. Prefontaine, 53, of Schofield Avenue, died Sunday, April 19, 2015, at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his mother, Yvonne D. (Gregoire) Prefontaine of Rockledge, FL; three sisters, Linda Cahill of Dudley, Emma McKinstry of Charlton, and Cheryl Armstrong of Rockledge, FL; and many nephews and nieces, great nephews and nieces, and great-great nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth J. Prefontaine Jr. who died in 2002; and a sister, Diane Briggs who died in 2009. He was born in Webster on November 9, 1961, the son of the late Kenneth J. Prefontaine Sr. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 27, 2015, at St. Roch's Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at North Cemetery in Oxford. Memorial calling hours are Monday, April 27, 2015, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Robert's name to Venture Community Service, 1 Picker Road, Sturbridge, MA 01566.
