Roberta Hammann

OXFORD – Roberta A. (Caissie) Hammann, 73, of Federal Hill Road, died peacefully on Monday, June 4, 2018, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Edward J. Hammann Jr. of Oxford; three children, Joby A. Miller and his wife Amy of McDonald, OH, Johnny A. Miller and his wife Melody of Brookfield, and Jill M. Coderre of North Grafton; three brothers, Arthur Caissie of Worcester, David Caissie of San Francisco, and Dennis Caissie of Maine; two sisters, Janet Couture of Oxford and Ethel Boissonault of Westfield; three step-children, Lori Carroll and her husband Donn of Dayton, OH, Mark Hammann and his wife Teanna of Fishkill, NY, and Rachel Adrian and her husband Jonathan of Melbourne, FL; five grandchildren, Jordan and Karina Miller, Zachary and Emily Coderre, and Jase Miller; four great-grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her first husband, Roger E. Miller of Oxford who died in 1987; five brothers, Robert Caissie, Russell Caissie, Barry Caissie, Leonard Caissie, and Joseph Caissie; and three sisters, Lois Forleo, Frances Wheeler, and Leona Parker. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Joseph O. and Ethel (Cunningham) Caissie, and was a lifelong resident of Oxford.

Mrs. Hammann worked at U.P.S. in Shrewsbury for 26 years. She was a member of the Oxford Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She enjoyed trips to York Beach, ME, and her family was the focus of her life.

Memorial calling hours are Sunday, June 10, 2018, from 2-4 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. A brief memorial talk will be held at 4 p.m. at the conclusion of the calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Central Mass.
