NORTH OXFORD - Ronald W. Bilodeau, 61, of Turner Road, died Monday, November 24, 2014, at UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus, after a long illness. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Christine A. (Goddard) Bilodeau of North Oxford; his son, Chad G. Bilodeau of North Oxford; his mother, Bernadette J. (Boucher) Bilodeau of Oxford; two brothers, Paul L. Bilodeau and his wife Sharon of Webster, and Donald J. Bilodeau and his wife Judith of Oxford; and his father- and mother-in-law, Roger A. and Evelyn M. (Caribo) Goddard; and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Roger A. and Deborah (Trudeau) Goddard, Jr. He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Lorenzo J. Bilodeau, and lived in Dudley and Webster before moving to North Oxford 14 years ago. Mr. Bilodeau worked at Charter Communications for 25 years, most recently as a construction supervisor. He enjoyed playing basketball and softball when he was younger, and he was a former basketball coach at St. Louis School in Webster. He was a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast and loved spending summers at Old Orchard Beach. A funeral and burial will be private at a later date. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Oxford Animal Shelter, 325 Main St., Oxford, MA 01540, or to the M.S.P.C.A.-Angell, 350 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is assisting with arrangements.
