OXFORD – Ronald Lewis White, Sr., 83, died Monday, December 1, 2025, at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in West Brookfield.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Elizabeth A. (Cartier) White who died in 1999; and his second wife, Lorraine (Duclos) White who died in 2005. He is survived by three children, Cynthia J. Hannis and her husband Jason of Bloomsburg, PA, Ronald L. White Jr. and his wife Lisa of Wales, and Samantha J. Cahill and her husband Jason of Charlton; and seven grandchildren, Sara Larkin, Joshua Larkin, Ronald White III, Daniel White, David White, Nyles Irving, and Dustin Hughes.
He was born in Bristol, CT, son of the late Lewis H. and Frances L. (Nason) White, and lived in Haverhill before moving to Oxford in 1977. He graduated from Haverhill High School.
Mr. White worked at General Spring and Wire Company for over 30 years prior to retirement. He was instrumental in establishing the Oxford Youth Soccer program, and remained active with the program for many years. He was an avid fisherman and loved to canoe in the lakes of Maine.
Calling hours are Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 1-3 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Remembrances by family and friends will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at the conclusion of calling hours. A private graveside service will be held at a later date at North Cemetery in Oxford.
