Sanni M. Ryan

OXFORD – Sanni Maria (Maloney) Ryan, 85, of Old Webster Road, died peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at the Overlook in Charlton, after a long illness.

She is survived by her son, William B. Ryan and his wife Christine of Charlotte, NC; and her cousin, James Sundstrom of Webster. She was predeceased by her former husband, William A. Ryan who died in 2024 and her son James J. Ryan who died in 2010.

She was born in Pacific Grove, CA, daughter of the late Joseph and Thelma (Matson) Maloney, and lived most of her life in Oxford.

Ms. Ryan was a customer service representative for Commerce Insurance in Webster for many years, retiring in 2010. Previously, she worked for Norback’s in Worcester, where she spent many years framing pictures, a job which she truly loved. She was an artist in her younger years, and was a racing fan of NASCAR and Formula 1.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.

Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
