Sharon A. Bryn

DUDLEY – Sharon A. (Reardon) Bryn, 79, of Johnathan Pass, died Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Webster Manor Nursing Home, after a long battle with dementia.  She was predeceased by her husband, Richard A. Bryn.  She is survived by three children, Kim-Marie Bryn of Dudley, Richard P. Bryn and his wife Debra of Dudley, and Paul J. Bryn of East Providence, RI; her brother, Francis P. Reardon of Shrewsbury; six grandchildren, David Bryn and his wife Alana of Las Vegas, NV, Kristy Wasilewski and her husband Daniel of Apex, NC, Richard Bryn Jr. of Dudley, Steven McCluskey of Millbury, Anthony Bryn of Dudley, and Alyssa Bryn of Dudley; her great-grandson, Noah Wasilewski; her former son-in-law, Timothy McCluskey of Dudley; her longtime close friends, Maurice and Patricia Bisceglia, and Marion Tricomi, all of Worcester; and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a son, Steven M. Bryn who died in 1988; two sisters, Janice M. Lavigne and Paula J. Reardon; and her great-granddaughter, Sophie Mae.  She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late John P. and Shirley E. (Green) Reardon, and lived in Oxford before moving to Dudley 22 years ago.  She graduated from Commerce High School in Worcester.

Mrs. Bryn was a teaching assistant for Oxford Public Schools for many years prior to retirement.  She was a member of St. Roch’s Church in Oxford.  She enjoyed going to the beach, baking, and making wonderful desserts for her friends and family.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. 

Sharon’s family thanks everyone at Webster Manor for their kindness, friendship, and excellent care of her during her final years.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, October 23, 2023, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford.  Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester.  Calling hours are Monday from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Webster Manor Nursing Home, c/o the Activities Dept., 745 School St., Webster, MA 01570.
