CHARLTON – Susan A. (Rouillard) Jordan Dietlin, 58, died Thursday, June 23, 2022, from her battle with metastatic breast cancer, which she fought for over 15 years. She was surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by her loving husband of over 20 years, Donald H. Dietlin Jr. of Charlton; a son, Christopher Jordan of Worcester; her bonus children, Donald H. Dietlin III and his wife Adriana of Charlton, and Chelsea Dietlin and her companion Elizabeth Dyer of Brookfield; her grandchildren, Lillyanna, Jordan, and Madelynn Jordon of Carolina, and Jared Jordan of Putnam, CT; her bonus grandbabies, Dylan, Marianna, and D.J. Dietlin of Charlton, and Oliver of Putnam, CT; her brother, Philip Rouillard of Oxford; and her best friend of over 40 years, Pam Letourneau of Worcester. She was predeceased by a son, Justin Jordan who died in 2007.
Susan was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Philip and Marion Rouillard, and raised in Oxford before moving to Charlton over 20 years ago. She graduated from Oxford High School and played clarinet in the middle and high school band.
She was one of the best area bartenders around, with her hearty laugh, bubbly personality, and smile. She spent 36 years working at North End Pub, Golden Lion, Whistle Stop, and Empire Wok. Susan took pride in her family, her home, her flowers, and loved to cook for everyone. She will be missed by many.
A funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at New Notre Dame Cemetery in Southbridge. Calling hours are Friday, July 1, 2022, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, raise a glass in her honor.
