Theresa A. Stone

NORTH OXFORD – Theresa A. (LeBlanc) Stone, 96, formerly of Maple Avenue, died Monday, October 6, 2025, at Eddy Pond in Auburn.

She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Robert W. Stone who died in 2017. She is survived by two children, Gerald W. Stone of New York City, NY, and Sharon M. Mazurek of Oxford; a grandson, Ian Mazurek of Millbury, MA; two heart sons, Donald Jolly of Sutton and John Sennhauser of New York City, NY; many nephews and nieces, and her sister in law Denise LeBlanc, who was a dear friend. She was predeceased by four brothers, Theodore LeBlanc, Ozias “Bunny” LeBlanc, Raymond LeBlanc, and Norman J. LeBlanc.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Ozias and Albina (LaMountain) LeBlanc, and was a lifelong resident of North Oxford. She graduated from Oxford High School in 1947.

Mrs. Stone worked at Sears and Roebuck in Auburn for 8 years, retiring in 1992. She was a longtime member of St. Ann’s Church in North Oxford, actively involved in the St. Vincent de Paul Society, and served as a Girl Scout leader many years ago. She loved dancing, spending summers at the Cape, and treasured the holidays with her beloved friends and family.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025, at St. Roch’s Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Those attending are respectfully requested to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow at North Cemetery in Oxford. There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
