GARDNER – Tyler Jordan Dennis, 26, of Bear Hill Road, died Thursday, March 30, 2023, at UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus in Worcester, after a history of mental illness.  He is survived by his father, David A. Dennis and his wife Tracy of Asheboro, NC; his mother, Billie Jo A. (Valcourt) Dennis and her partner Brian Brackett of Gardner; his son, Alexander Edward Dennis of Athol; his sister, Erica Wheeler of Gardner; his paternal grandmother, Bernadina Bingham of Oxford; his maternal grandparents, William and Rebecca Valcourt of Gardner; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, a step brother, and two step sisters; and his beloved dog, Bear.  He was predeceased by a brother, Joshua Wheeler; and his paternal grandfathers, Claude Bingham and Edward Dennis.  He was born in Leominster and lived in Gardner for over 15 years.

Tyler loved military history and participated in World War II reenactments.  His great love was gaming and he was accomplished on his Xbox.  Several years ago, he held the 1st and 2nd place record for UFC gaming for the fastest knock-out.  He had a skill for strategic play and planning ability during games.  He earned money from EA Sports for using his plays and characters in game advertising.  In strategic gaming, his character was always a sniper or sharpshooter, and he was well known in the gaming community for his skill.  He played under the game tag sirpwnage2277.  He also enjoyed art and found that working with colored pencils helped him through difficult times.

Services will be private.  Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
