Valerie J. Deschenes

DUDLEY – Valerie J. (Lacas) Deschenes, 76, of Joseph Street, died Saturday, December 13, 2025, in her home.

She was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Leo R. Deschenes Jr. of Webster, who died in 2010. She is survived by two daughters, Tammy A. Lamica and her husband Chris of Charlton, and Bonnie J. Miglionico and her husband Jason of Dudley; and four grandchildren, Paige, Nathan, Lucas, and Jayden.

She was born in Woonsocket, RI, daughter of the late Charles J. and Ida (Poudrier) Lacas, and lived in Woonsocket, RI, before moving to Webster in 1968 and Dudley in 2010.

Funeral services will be held privately, followed by burial at North Cemetery in Oxford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Paralyzed Veterans of America, P.O. Box 758589, Topeka, KS 66675-8589.
