WORCESTER - Vernon J. Bagdis, 61, of Vernon St., died Tuesday, December 3, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Rosanne (Kneeland) Bagdis; two children, Rebecca A. Caranci and her husband David of Worcester, and Eric S. Bagdis of Worcester; his mother, Theresa (Roslund) Bagdis of Worcester; his sister, Diane Kacavich of Worcester; four grandchildren, Tyler Bagdis, Chloe Bagdis, Brady Caranci, and Brandon Caranci; three step grandchildren, Ryan Caranci, Kevin Caranci, and Kylie Jackson; a nephew and two nieces. He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Vernon G. Bagdis, and was a lifelong resident of Worcester. Mr. Bagdis worked at the Lithuanian Club in Worcester many years ago. He was a member of the Lithuanian Club, enjoyed going to Disney World, and was a fan of the Patriots and Red Sox. Most of all, he enjoyed being at home to care for his grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 6, 2013, at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at North Cemetery in Oxford. Calling hours are Thursday, December 5, 2013, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
