Virginia Larocque

NORTH OXFORD – Virginia A. "Ginny" Larocque, 63, of Wallace Court, died suddenly on Friday, February 1, 2008, at Hubbard Regional Hospital in Webster, after being stricken ill at home. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Neil J. Larocque of North Oxford; two children, Lisa A. Czechowski and her husband Thomas of Oxford, and Mark J. Larocque and his wife Beth of Arizona; a brother, William Lesley and his wife Nancy of Oxford; three grandchildren, Mark Larocque Jr., Matthew Larocque, and Stephanie Larocque; and several nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late William and Jessie (Farrar) Leslie Sr., and was a lifelong resident of Oxford and North Oxford. She graduated from Oxford High School in 1962. Mrs. Larocque was a sales associate at the Home Depot for 6 years, working in Worcester, Auburn and most recently in Oxford. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and crafts. A funeral will be held at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, February 5, 2008, from Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Roch's Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at St. Roch's Cemetery, Oxford. Calling hours are Monday, February 4, 2008, from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
