Warren Sentance, Sr.

OXFORD – Warren W. Sentance Sr., 71, of Fort Hill Road, died peacefully in his home of heart failure on Thursday, August 31, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Joyce D. (Zabinski) Sentance of Oxford; his son, Warren W. Sentance Jr. and his wife Susan of Harwich; his brother, Wayne Sentance of Auburn; a nephew, a niece, and five great nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Richard C. and Anna (Leovich) Sentance, and lived in Oxford since 1985.

Mr. Sentance worked for Cincinnati Milacron/Heald Division for 26 years. Later, he obtained his Class A license was a truck driver for several years before retiring in 2004. He was a member of the Massachusetts Beach Buggy Association and Singletary Rod and Gun Club. He was a member of the Quinebaug Lodge of Masons in Southbridge.

Mr. Sentance enjoyed traveling to Nauset Beach and Race Point on Cape Cod for over 50 years with his family. He loved going to the beach, fishing, and playing cards. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Calling hours are Tuesday, September 5, 2017, from 3-6 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. A prayer service will be held on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the conclusion of calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
