William Seth Keeler, Jr.

AUBURN – William Seth Keeler, Jr., 87, passed away in his home on Thursday, June 29, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.  He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Janet E. (Eakin) Keeler of Auburn; four children, Lisa K. Graham of North Oxford, William Seth Keeler, III, and his wife Brenda of Auburn, David A. Keeler and his wife Barbara of North Oxford, and Bryce M. Keeler and his wife Laura of Auburn; 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces.  He was predeceased by two sisters, June Garriepy and Elizabeth Minor.  He was born in Northbridge, son of the late William Seth and Theresa (Frieswyk) Keeler, and lived in Auburn since 1986.  He graduated from Worcester Academy and received a bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Mr. Keeler owned and operated Keetech Sales in Auburn for 30 years, retiring in 1989.  His passion was farming and he loved his time as a gentleman farmer operating Mapleridge Farm.  He was past president and co-founder of the Westboro Youth Hockey Association and was a member of the American Paint Horse Association.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at North Cemetery, in Oxford.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.  Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
