SPRINGFIELD, NH – Winfield “Scott” Santor, 63, of Hazzard Road N., died unexpectedly on Saturday, July 10, 2021. He is survived by his daughter, Jackie J. Johnston and her husband Michael of Medford; his father, Alwin “Al” C. Santor of Oxford; six siblings, Barbara Johnson of Spencer, Tarry York of Oxford, Clyde Santor of Oxford, Bert Santor of Worcester, Richard Santor of Webster, and Lynn Schold of Millbury; two grandsons, Ronan Johnston and Fintan Johnston, both of Medford; his former wife, Yucha (Chang) Kantorski of Woodstock, CT; and several cousins, nephews, nieces, aunts, and uncles. He was born in Lebanon, NH, son of the late Josephine H. (Mason) Santor, and lived in Oxford and Auburn before moving to Springfield, NH, six years ago. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Mr. Santor was a pyrotechnician and worked as a crewman at American Thunder Fireworks, Inc., and was a member of the New Hampshire Pyrotechnics Association. He loved creating fireworks shows and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors.
Calling hours are Sunday, July 18, 2021, from 1-3 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Remembrances by family and friends will be shared at 3 p.m. on Sunday at the conclusion of calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
