Ann Trainor

December 6, 1950 — June 21, 2021

Spencer

SPENCER - Ann E. (Garnjobst) Trainor, 70, died peacefully at her home in Spencer on June 21, 2021.

She is dearly missed by family and friends. Ann was always ready to lend her compassionate and common-sense counsel. She had unerring judgment, a huge heart and a flair for interior design. Her lakeside home and gardens could have been in the pages of House Beautiful.

Ann, born in Burlington, Iowa, was the beloved youngest child of Marjorie and Jerome Garnjobst. Her older siblings – Jim, Tom, Dick and Karen – treasured their friendship with her.

She earned a B.A. in literature from Franconia College. She was a voracious reader and intensely curious about the world.

Ann worked as a billing and payroll supervisor at Shrewsbury Electric and Cable Operations for many years. She was a valued and respected colleague.

She adored animals. Three lucky dogs had the good fortune of being her pets.

She is survived by her loving husband, John; two brothers Jim and Dick; brothers-in-law, sisters-in law, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, her brother Tom and sister Karen.

Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
