SPRINGHILL, FL – Arlene E. Corriveau, 93, of Grapewood Rd., died Sunday, September 5, 2021, surrounded by her beloved family.  She is survived by her three children, George M. Corriveau and his wife Deb of Hamburg, NJ, Lynne K. Moody of Springhill, FL, and Steven Corriveau and his wife Annie of Naples, FL; eight grandchildren, Michael Corriveau and his wife Lou, Scott Corriveau and his wife Linda, Shane Moody, Randy Moody and his wife Jess, Kerri Moody, Justin Corriveau, Dana Genoese and Jeremy Genoese; six great-grandchildren, Rebecca, Zack, Jake, Brendon, Brayden, Riley, Tori, and Adam; and two close friends, Maryann Corriveau and Steven Moody.  She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 73 years, George J. Corriveau who died in 2019, her son John “Jack” Corriveau who died in 1974, her sister Alma Pineau in Kennebunk, Maine, and two brothers, Harry Smith and his wife Francine from Sutton, Ma and Charles Smith and his wife from Grafton, MA.  She was born in Norwich, CT, the daughter of the late Sophie and Harry Smith, and previously lived in Springhill, Fl, Auburn, Barre, Naples, FL, and Oxford, MA.  She attended Douglas Schools.

Mrs. Corriveau worked part time as a nurse’s aide at various hospitals while raising her family.  She loved spending her free time with her beloved family, baking and traveling.

A private graveside service will be held at St. Roch’s Cemetery in Oxford.  There are no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Roch’s Church, 334 Main Street, Oxford, MA 01540.

Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
