Debra Martin

THOMPSON, CT – Debra A. (Smith) Martin, 65, died Saturday, June 5, 2021, in her home.  She is survived by two children, Amanda A. Levie and her husband Joshua of Charlton, and Daniel S. Mitchell and his wife Michele of Dudley; a brother, Gaylon F. Campbell of Ashland, ME; four sisters, Donna M. Matheson of Dickenson, TX, Rhonda R. Langille of Washburn, ME, Kathy L. Doyle of Front Royal, VA, and Gail P. McCassey of Putnam, CT; four grandchildren, Mikayla A. Levie, Olivia E. Levie, Cody M. Mitchell, and Payton M. Mitchell; two close friends, Linda Levie and Doreen Wetherell; eight nephews and nieces, and many great nephews and nieces.  She was predeceased by her brother, Stanley J. Smith.  She was born in Ashland, ME, daughter of the late Stanley and Priscilla (Jimmo) Smith, and lived in Stow and Oxford before moving to Thompson, CT, in 2017.  She graduated from Nashoba Regional High School in Bolton in 1974.

Ms. Martin was an electronic supervisor at Infineon Technologies in Leominster for 20 years, retiring in 2017.  She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Dr. Tony Samaha and his staff at St. Vincent Hospital, for the many years of exceptional care Debra received there.

Memorial calling hours are Friday, June 11, 2021, from 4-7 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford.  Remembrances by family and friends will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the conclusion of calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, 693 Main St. P.O.
