OXFORD- Florence Rose (Maiocchi) Jones, 85, a longtime resident of Burlington and Woburn, passed away peacefully at her home in Oxford on Wednesday, July 15, 2020. She was predeceased by her husband George W. Jones, who passed away in 2016.
She is survived by her four children, George W. Jones, Jr., Kelle M. Walker, Alison C. Dodge, and Beth A. Reinold; ten grandchildren, Shawn and Jason Walker, Jessica (Jones) Sullivan, Hunter, Meghan, Kyle and Hannah Dodge, and Brittanie, Cody and Olivia Reinold.; five great-granchildren; three sisters, Alice Copper, Ann Anderson and Lorraine Repetto, all of St. Petersburg, FL; and a brother, Mike Maiocchi.
Florence was born in Cambridge, MA. She was daughter of the late Anthony and Ethel F. (Symonds) Maiocchi. Florence graduated from Woburn High School in 1952. She was dearly loved by all who met her. A contagious smile and a love to chat, she always made friends everywhere she went. She will be greatly missed by many.
