George Madaga

WORCESTER – George Louis Madaga, 90, of Worcester, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at the Meadows of Leicester.  He is survived by two close friends, Susan M. Mastromatteo of Worcester, and Brenda Mastromatteo of Leicester; two nephews and one niece, Ryan Mastromatteo of Millbury, Kristopher Mastromatteo and his wife Dawn of Leicester, and Sandra Troyse of Webster.  He was predeceased by a close friend, Patrick Mastromatteo who died in 2018.  He was born in Worcester, son of the late George E. and Annie Sophie (Soderman) Madaga, and lived in Auburn before moving to Worcester 10 years ago.  He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

Mr. Madaga worked many years in the construction industry.  He was a member of the Auburn/Webster Elks.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge St., Worcester.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice to support veterans.  Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
