CHARLTON – Jeffry W. Boisvere, 56, died unexpectedly on Saturday, November 20, 2021, after an accident in his home. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Elizabeth (Betty) A. (King) Boisvere of Charlton; his daughter, Sarah E. Boisvere of Charlton; his brother, Franklin Boisvere of Florida; and several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins. He was born in Ludlow, son of the late Franklin and Patricia (Dupuis) Boisvere, grandson of the late Flo Dupuis with whom he had a special relationship with. He lived in Oxford before moving to Charlton in 1994. He graduated from Oxford High School in 1983, he proudly received his bachelor’s degree after attending 7 years of night school through Emmanuel College in Boston. He proudly served in the Army National Guard in Massachusetts. He was a graduate of the Massachusetts Military Academy, and was a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.
Mr. Boisvere was a sales manager at Mitsubishi Chemical in Southbridge, previously, he worked for ARCSOURCE, AIR LIQUIDE, and AIRGAS EAST all in Worcester. He was a member of the Auburn Sportsman’s Club, and a member of the United States Judo Association.
Mr. Boisvere was a seventh degree blackbelt in Judo and a fifth degree blackbelt in Jujitsu. He practiced and taught Judo for many years. He had been a Tactical Instructor for the Worcester Police Department in the past, and taught self-defense classes for women. He had a love for the sport of Judo, he enjoyed running, boxing, eating at restaurants, and loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed time at the beach in Plymouth. He was always smiling, had a huge personality that would light up the room, with an infectious laugh. He would want to be remembered as a "good dancer", and often complained that his "girlfriend" Denise Austin (fitness guru) would not respond to his letters.
Memorial calling hours are Thursday, December 2, 2021, from 4-6 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. A prayer service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday at the conclusion of calling hours.
