SPENCER – Jesse R. Lamoureux, 38, a longtime Spencer resident and most recently of Oxford, died Saturday, May 21, 2022, from injuries sustained in a house fire on Friday in Oxford.  He is survived by two sisters, Rosaleen J. Clayton of North Oxford, and Trina M. Dysinger and her husband Jerry of North Grosvenordale, CT; seven nieces and nephews, Tyanna Shea, Alysia St. Laurent, Alex Rondon, Adrian Casiano, Ian Clayton, Devin Clayton, and Brianna Clayton; great-nephew Bryson St. Laurent and great-niece Luciana St. Laurent; his uncle, Roger Lamoureux; three aunts, Lavena Shenette and her husband Brian, Lizette Ford, and Lorraine Lamoureux; He was incredibly proud of both of his nephews as Alex joined the United States Marine Corps and Adrian joined the United States Navy;

He was born in Worcester, son of the late Raymond C. and Marjorie A. Lamoureux, who were waiting to welcome him with open arms. Jesse graduated from David Prouty High School in Class of 2002 as an avid student athlete.

Most recently, Jesse was the General Manager at Longhorn Steakhouse in Manchester CT and various locations across the United States.  He was most proud of obtaining Managing Partner of Longhorn Steakhouse in Phoenix, AZ.  His career in the restaurant industry began at the age of 18 at Chuck’s Steakhouse in Auburn.

Jesse was a history buff and loved to travel and visited places throughout the country, with the Bahamas and U.S. Virgin Islands being two of his favorite destinations.  He enjoyed racquetball, golf, had a passion for cooking, teaching others his skills in the kitchen and preparing holiday meals for his family.  Jesse was a practical joker, with a generous heart of gold, and a smile so contagious. He was a loyal friend to so many, an uncle his nieces and nephews looked up to, he never missed birthdays or important events; His family meant everything to him and he was taken far too soon.
