OXFORD – Joann A. (Rossley) Edmonds, 75, died peacefully on Monday, June 20, 2022, at the Overlook Masonic Health Center in Charlton.  She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Robert G. (Petersen) Rossley, and lived most of her life in Oxford.  She graduated from South High School in Worcester in 1965 and received her Associates Degree from Becker College in 2001.

Mrs. Edmonds was the Director of Quality Assurance and Risk Management at Hubbard Regional Hospital in Webster for 30 years.  She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Oxford.  At the church, she was a member of the handbell choir, prayer group, a Sunday school teacher, a vacation bible school teacher, and the prayer shawl ministry.  While living in Florida, she was a member of the Spring Hill United Church of Christ in Spring Hill.  She was a member of the Red Hat Society, the Order of the Eastern Star – Clara Barton Chapter, and a member of the board of directors for the Southern Worcester County V.N.A.  She was a Mother Advisor for the Rainbow Girls and a member of the Hubbard Regional Hospital Guild.

Mrs. Edmonds enjoyed traveling, crafts, golf, and was an avid reader.  Anyone who knew her, knew how much she loved ice cream.  Among her most treasured memories was spending time at the family home in Ocean Park, Maine, with five generations of her family.  After retirement, she moved to Brooksville, FL, for 12 years and loved being part of the Brookridge Community.  She greatly missed her beloved dog Lily, who passed away two years ago.
