June Bundey

OXFORD – June (Gorman) Bundey, 82, of Harwood Street, died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, September 8, 2019, at UMass Memorial – Clinton Hospital in Clinton, after a long battle with dementia.  She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Denis J. Bundey who died in 2011.  She is survived by two children, Caron L. Dettmann of Florida, and Jason Bundey and his wife Tammy of Oxford; three grandchildren, Justin Bundey, Jenny Herstein, and Sarah McCrimmon; and two great-grandchildren, Ashton McCrimmon and Aubrey McCrimmon.  She was predeceased by a grandson, Curtis Dettmann who died in 2018.  She was born in Kilwinning, Scotland, daughter of the late John and Janet (McIlroy) Gorman.

Mrs. Bundey was a receptionist at Bundey Flooring in England, which she owned with her husband.  She loved animals.  She enjoyed her dogs and cats, and supported the humane society to help all animals.

Services will be private.  Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
