Linda Patterson

LEICESTER – Linda L. (Bruce) Patterson, 76, died Thursday, April 22, 2021, at UMass Memorial Medical Center – Memorial Campus in Worcester.  She was predeceased by her husband of 27 years, Gordon C. Patterson who died in 2003.  She is survived by a brother, Robert L. Bruce of Spencer; a sister, Karen L. Andros of Fitchburg; and many nephews and nieces.  She was predeceased by two sisters, Sandra J. LaFlash and Bonnie Classon; and a brother, David Bruce.  She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Gordon and Joan (Hosegood) Bruce, and lived most of her life in Leicester.

Mrs. Patterson worked in the cafeteria for Leicester Public Schools for several years.  She was a member of Pilgrim Congregational Church in Worcester, where she also served as a deacon, taught Sunday school, and volunteered with the food bank.

The family would like to thank the staff at St. Mary’s Healthcare Center and ICU 2-South at Memorial Hospital, for their exceptional care.

Memorial calling hours are Friday, April 30, 2021, from 4-7 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford.  A prayer service will be held on Friday at 7 p.m. at the conclusion of the calling hours.
