Louise Boutillette Orciani

OXFORD – Louise M. (Thienel) Boutillette Orciani, 99, formerly of Millbury Boulevard, died Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Christopher Heights of Webster.  She was predeceased by her first husband, Edward J. Boutillette who died in 1965; and her second husband, Henry Orciani who died in 1981.  She is survived by a son, Lawrence B. Boutillette of New York; a granddaughter, Lauren A. Boutillette of New York; two stepchildren, Gary Orciani of West Boylston, and Sharon Killion of East Princeton; a brother, Armand Thienel of Worcester; and a sister, Doris Arcudi of Milford.  She was predeceased by a son, Edward A. Boutillette who died in 2002; two brothers, Robert Thienel and Arthur Thienel; and two sisters, Irene Sigel and Lena Thienel.  She was born in Manchester, NH, the daughter of the late Arthur and Louise (Roy) Thienel, and lived in Worcester before moving to Oxford in 1946.  She graduated from Worcester Girls Trade School.

Mrs. Orciani worked at Steven’s Linen for many years prior to retirement.  She was a member of St. Roch’s Church in Oxford.  She was active at the Oxford Senior Center and a charter member of the Oxford Art Association.  Mrs. Orciani enjoyed living at Christopher Heights in Webster for the past eight years, and participated in the Book Club, the Knitting Club, and the “Agree to Disagree” Club.

A funeral will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022, from Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Liturgy of the Word at 10 a.m. at St. Roch’s Church, 332 Main St., Oxford.  Burial will follow at St. Roch’s Cemetery in Oxford.  Calling hours are Wednesday, April 13, 2022, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
