OXFORD – Marcel A. LeClair, 77, of Fort Hill Road, died Thursday, December 24, 2020, after a short illness.  He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Ann M. (Trainor) LeClair of Oxford; five children, Michael J. LeClair of Foster, RI, Christopher J. LeClair and his wife Amy of Foster, RI, Amanda J. Scott and her husband Shawn of North Scituate, RI, Mary T. LeClair of North Adams, and Elizabeth A. Cirillo and her husband Dominic of Rutland; a sister, Diane F. Femino and her husband John of Foster, RI; five grandchildren, Samuel, Andrew, Jacob, Marco, and Grace; and many nephews and nieces.  He was predeceased by his sister, Gisele P. LeClair who died in 1979.  He was born in Woonsocket, RI, son of the late Fernand L. and Rachel T. (St. Pierre) LeClair, and lived in Worcester before moving to Oxford in 2004.  He graduated from Mount Saint Charles Academy in 1960 and St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Radiology.

Mr. LeClair was a radiologic technologist at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester for many years, and worked in the radiology field since 1960.  He was a member of St. Roch’s Church in Oxford.  He was a former member of St. Ann’s Church in North Oxford, serving as a Eucharistic minister, lector, on the St. Vincent de Paul Society, and on numerous other committees over the years.  He was a member and past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Dennis J. Rocheford Council 4241 in Oxford, and was a 4th degree member of the John Cardinal Wright Assembly.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 31, 2020, at St. Roch’s Church, 332 Main St., Oxford.  Those attending are respectfully requested to meet directly at the church.  Due to Covid-19 gathering restrictions, Mass may be watched from the church hall if capacity is reached in the church, and will be live-streamed on the church and funeral home websites.  Burial will follow at North Cemetery in Oxford.  There are no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Roch’s Church, 334 Main St., Oxford, MA 01540, or St. Ann’s Church, P.O. Box 488, North Oxford, MA 01537.  Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
