OXFORD – Marion E. (Fanion) Lambert, 86, of Charlton Street, died Sunday, February 14, 2021, at the Life Care Center of Auburn.  She was predeceased by her husband, Henry “Bud” J. Lambert who died in 1998.  She is survived by two children, Timothy H. Lambert and his wife Cheryl of Oxford, and Dale L. McKay and her husband James of Oxford; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces.  She also had two brothers.  She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Theodore and Esther (LaPrade) Fanion, was raised in Auburn and lived most of her life in Oxford.

Mrs. Lambert worked at Krintzman Dusting Mill in Oxford for several years, as well as working at several other jobs throughout her life.  She enjoyed going to flea markets, arts and crafts, crocheting, sewing, gardening, woodworking, reading, and trips to the casino with her husband.  She enjoyed visits from her friends, especially Theresa Greene.

The family would like to thank the Life Care Center of Auburn for the exceptional care given to their mother over the past 10 years.

A funeral will be held privately due to gathering restrictions.  Burial will be private at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, P.O. Box 91891, Washington, DC 20090-1891.  Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
