SUTTON – Michael T. Threadgould, 70, of Central Turnpike, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 9, 2022.  He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Doreen (Steinmetz) Threadgould of Sutton; two children, Rose E. Mallon and her husband Josh of Hanover, and Benjamin D. Threadgould of Manchester, NH; a sister, Mary Cleveland of West Boylston; a brother, Robert Threadgould and his wife Tanya of Rutland; four grandchildren, Evan, Isla, Nathan, and Avery; and many nephews and nieces.  He was predeceased by a brother, George “Timmy” Threadgould Jr., who died in 2021.  He was born in Clinton, son of the late George and Cecilia (Burton) Threadgould, and lived in Sutton for 32 years.  He graduated from Nashoba Regional High School in 1970.

Mr. Threadgould owned and operated Michael Threadgould, Paint Contractor, in Sutton for 30 years.  In addition, he was a subcontractor for Living Colors in Shrewsbury for 30 years.  He enjoyed traveling, spending time at the beach, and his dog, Lily.  He loved music, playing the drums, and listening to his favorite band, Led Zeppelin.  He was an avid reader who read the Boston Globe cover-to-cover every day, and enjoyed reading mystery thrillers.  He looked forward to Saturday night Qwerkle games with friends.  His greatest pleasure was spending time with his grandchildren, who he loved beyond measure.
