Norma Hasseltine

OXFORD – Norma G. (Jacques) Hasseltine, 94, of Old Howarth Road, died Monday, January 18, 2021, in her home.  She was predeceased by her husband of 15 years, Charles Hasseltine who died in 1995.  She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn J. Fafard and her husband Donald of Oxford; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one niece, and four nephews.  She was predeceased by two brothers, Raymond F. Jacques and Clarence A. Jacques.  She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late George N. and Mary Blanche (Ballard) Jacques, and graduated from Worcester Girls Trade High School in 1943.

Mrs. Hasseltine worked at U.S. Envelope and Worcester Envelope for 32 years, retiring in 1979.  She was a active with the Middleboro Council of Aged and enjoyed gardening, reading, and attending ceramics classes.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2021, at Central Cemetery, Water St., Millbury.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Summit ElderCare, 198 Thompson Rd., Webster, MA 01570, or to a charity of one’s choice.  Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
