WEBSTER - Robert N. Tremblay passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, February 3, 2020.  . He leaves behind three children, Nicole, Audrey and Travis all of Connecticut; his partner in life Laurie J. Andrews and her six children, Cameron, Callie, Colby, Caleb, Corey and Cassidie.  Robert was born the son of Robert and Grace Tremblay in Woonsocket R.I and then at a young age moved to Oxford.  He grew up on Quobaug Avenue in Oxford and leaves behind two sisters, Yvonne and her husband Vic of Webster, and Suzanne of Rhode Island.   He also leaves behind four brothers, Paul and his wife Debra of Oxford, Donald and David of Oxford, and Marcel of Deerfield; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He attended Oxford public schools where he was very involved with both basketball and football. He graduated Oxford High School in 1971 and then moved on to play football for Nichols College, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science and Business Administration in May of 1976. He then went on to attend graduate studies at Worcester State, Fitchburg State and Framingham State Colleges.  He was a sales executive for many years and then later pursued a teaching career at Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School in Charlton, where he was loved by many as a retired math teacher. He was currently employed at the Central Mass Auto Auction where he worked for the past ten years.

Robert loved to ride his motorcycle with his best friend Mike Smith, and loved the outdoors building memories with his family. He was also very fond of the ocean and seafood, going swimming and snorkeling when he could. He traveled the islands and lived in Puerto Rico for 3 years before returning back to settle in Massachusetts. He loved to shop and cook daily.

Robert was happiest making everyone else happy. Never once did he ever fail at telling a great story, always loving and living life to the fullest.

He was very much looking forward to spending time in Hawaii surrounded by the things that brought him joy. He will greatly be missed by all his loved ones and friends. He was an amazing teacher, father, and most of all working man. Never will he be forgotten and as a strong believer in God, may he walk by his side for the rest of eternity. Robert was also a lifelong member of St. Roch’s Church in Oxford.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2020, at St. Roch’s Church, 332 Main St., Oxford.  Services will be held to celebrate his life at a date to be announced.  Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
