THOMPSON, CT – Ronald E. Lincoln, 76, of Thompson Road, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.  He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Irene Alma (Thibert) Lincoln of Thompson; three children, Wayne R. Lincoln and his wife Ingrid, Todd R. Lincoln and his wife Heidi, and Linda L. Lambert and her husband Ernest; six grandchildren, James W. Lincoln, Ashley E. Lambert, Amanda J. Lincoln, Joshua R. Lambert, Jennifer R. Lambert, and Emma J. Lincoln; five great-grandchildren, Jason E. Mensah, Page S. Lincoln, Westley C. Kimball, Simone Q. Lincoln, and Regina P. Lincoln; and many nephews and nieces.  He was predeceased by ten brothers and sisters, Randolph Lincoln, Elida “Lidy” Stone, Martha “Mart” Kemp, Calvin “Kelly” Lincoln, Helen “Honey” Cronin, Almon “Abe” Lincoln, Royal “Rolly” Lincoln, twin brothers Richard “Richie” and Russel Lincoln, and Stanley Lincoln.  He was born in Oxford, son of the late Walter B. and Irene M. (Davis) Lincoln, and lived in Oxford before moving to Thompson in 1969.  He attended trade high school in Worcester.

Mr. Lincoln owned and operated Lincoln Precision Machine Inc., in Thompson for 24 years, retiring in 2007.  He worked as a machinist throughout his life.  He was a member of the Eastern Draft Horse Association and participated in horse pulling with ponies and horses for 32 years.  He loved traveling with his wife, long drives throughout the country, and working in his yard.  He will be remembered for his famous 4th of July parties with fireworks held on his property since 1969.  Most important in his life were his family and extended family including his nephews and nieces.

Calling hours are Wednesday, April 14, 2021, from 5-8 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford.  Following cremation, a graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at West Ridge Cemetery in Charlton.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Massachusetts Affiliate, P.O. Box 845037, Boston, MA 02284-5037.
