Theresa Plante

NORTH UXBRIDGE – Theresa L. (Jacques) Plante, 91, of Linwood Street, died Monday, July 8, 2019, at Milford Regional Medical Center in Milford.  She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Richard A. Plante of North Uxbridge who died in 2008.  She is survived by two children, Richard D. Plante of Salem, and Robert P. Plante of North Uxbridge; a sister, Claire Bernard of Uxbridge; four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces.  She was predeceased by a son, Kenneth M. Plante who died in 2008; and two brothers, Normand G. Jacques and Joseph “Nini” Jacques.  She was born in Northbridge, daughter of the late Donat and Bernadette (Bernier) Jacques, and was a lifelong resident of North Uxbridge.

Mrs. Plante worked at Bernat’s Mill in Uxbridge for 8 years, retiring in 1987.  She was a former member of Good Shepherd Church in North Uxbridge.

The family of Theresa Plante would like to thank the Blackstone Valley Family Physicians, Dr.Siraco, and all the staff for being so very kind and compassionate to her.

A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2019, at Good Shepherd Church, 121 Linwood Street, Linwood.  Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
