About Us

Bryan graduated from Uxbridge High School in 1994 and Briarwood College in Southington, CT, in 1996. He was licensed as a funeral director and embalmer in 1996 and has been with Paradis Funeral Home since October of 1999.

In July of 2005, Bryan purchased the funeral home from Diane, continuing a tradition of offering the highest level of service to the community.  A complete renovation and addition was completed in 2013.

Ethan has been employed at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home since December of 2021. He is originally from Dudley, but now lives in Thompson, CT. He graduated from Shepherd Hill Regional High School in 2020 and received his bachelor’s degree from Anna Maria College in 2024. He completed his funeral service education from Cape Cod Community College and became a licensed funeral director and embalmer in August of 2026. In his free time, Ethan enjoys playing golf and taking his Goldendoodle, Mazie, on hikes. 

Diane graduated from Oxford High School in 1970. She was a certified surgical technician in the operating room before joining her father, Jules, in 1980. She graduated from New England Institute in Kenmore Square, Boston, in 1983. Diane purchased the funeral home from her parents, Jules and Edith (Leipe) Paradis in 1985.

Since transferring ownership of the funeral home to the Givner family in July of 2005, Diane has continued to serve the community as a funeral director and has remained a member of the Board of Directors at the funeral home.
